Kidnastics Dance Fusion - 302305

KIDNASTICS DANCE FUSION
The following classes will be taught by members of our Kidnastics Staff

TINY TOT DANCE Youth (Ages 2-3) with parent/caregiver
This interactive program is great for young children to learn the basics of dance. With a focus on creative movement, the class will use songs and props such as ribbons, scarves, and beanbags. Parents will help guide their young dancer through these movements. Get ready to move and groove in this parent/tot class. Children should come dressed in comfortable clothing, easy to move in, and socks (ballet shoes are welcome but not required).

POMS Youth (Ages 4-12)
Shake your pom poms to pump up the crowd and cheer on your team! Learn the fundamentals of poms from the arm and leg placements plus technical skills such as leaps, jumps, turns and synchronizations. Instructors will have poms available for use in class.

HIP HOP DANCE Youth (Ages 4-12)
Hip Hop is back! Come learn and focus on different styles and influences, including pop-n-lock, funk, and break dance. Dancers will experience a high-energy class with choreography that is age appropriate.

Dance with Heather - 302505

BALLET & TAP COMBO Youth (Ages 6-12)
Learn the foundations of ballet from warm up, barre work, floor work and ballet positions. Tap dance combinations are also included. Children need both ballet slippers and tap shoes for this class, leather soled shoes can be worn, check with instructor at first class.

DANCE BASICSAdults
Learn the basics of ballet, tap and jazz in this upbeat but low pressure class. Classes will focus on basic steps, technique and easy combinations for each style of dance. For new and beginning dancers ages 16 and up; jazz or ballet shoes required, tap shoes encouraged.

Discover the benefits of ballet instruction through the stretching, strengthening, and conditioning of your upper and lower extremities and abdomen. The adult ballet class is designed for adult dancers of all ages and abilities. Whether a student has years of dance experience, or wants to learn dance for the first time, this is the perfect class for you. All classes are fun, educational, and challenging, and offer a great workout to relieve daily stress.

Tap Boot Camp
Oh the sound of happy feet! Our Tap Boot Camp will provide a rigorous workout by incorporating various tap step combinations across the dance floor. You will learn several rhythms and famous dance steps.

Ballet Barre
The Ballet Barre is usually associated with dance techniques, but it can also provide an effective workout for non-dancers. This technique class will focus on core and abdominal conditioning as well as extremity flexibility. NO dance training is required!

Middle Eastern Dance - 302750

Learn the basic techniques and spirited essence of Middle Eastern Dance (MED). This ancient dance form is easily adapted to all fitness levels, and is a great path to becoming more fit! It is a great workout, while teaching muscle control, strength, isolation, grace, flexibility, and stamina. Traditional music and finger cymbals set the mood while you gain greater body awareness. Miss Denise has been performing and instructing Middle Eastern Dance for several decades.

LEVEL 1: Little or no experience
LEVEL 2: 1-2 years of MED experience
LEVEL 3: 3-5 years of MED experience
LEVEL 4: 5 or more years of MED experience
